I bought this with fingers crossed after reading some of the previous reviews. Instructions are good - had no problem setting up numbers/names in memory. The unit is small, but I had no problem pressing the right keys.
As for the "problem" of it interfering with the computer, a note included in the package states "should not be used near computer or TV" etc. The over the head headset works fine. In at least one case maybe Plantronics also read the reviews - where I found some complaints regarding the volume of the headset, I found it more than adequate.
Screen a little small - but last phone I had didn't have a screen, so it's still a plus - and I have no trouble reading it even with my old eyes. The whole idea as far as I was concerned was hands free to use the computer while on the phone. Since I don't have a network, just one computer, and the only wireless is the mouse, I have had no problems in that regard.
The belt clip is pretty useless, but if I move about I just slip the unit into my shirt pocket and hang the headset around my neck. In total, am very satisfied with this unit.
This phone was recommended to me by a friend. It is a nice piece of equipment for the price. Good range, works well, comfortable headset, and the phone unit and buttons are top quality. I would recommend it highly.
The Plantronics CT12 works better than imagined. Best of all, it relieves the burden of holding a handset to the ear, especially during long conversations. It provides clear voice reception and conversation partners report the same. Never any problems such as static noise or low battery. Obviously, it's nice to free up both hands for shuffling through files or looking for other things. After a few months, I was so happy with mine, that I bought two for my father, who is now equally enthusiastic.
light, longlasting battery, good quality sound and no interferances when walking around a 3 stories house. I just bought a second one, for my son. One problem: the headset is falling from the support.
The menu options on the keys are pretty small, and if you're vision isn't the best they can be very hard to read. The headset could fit a bit better, and the cord can be a pain sometimes when you're walking around. I've snagged it a few times, but have gone to tucking it inside my shirt which helps. But once, I got used to where everything is that's not a big deal anymore.Sound quality is very good. All in all, a good solid product for the price.
